Description
The fee to host a pool party is currently $50, and the following rules must be followed. By paying this fee, you agree to adhere strictly to these rules:
- Pool members may schedule two parties annually.
- Parties are reserved in 2-hour time slots.
- Pool by-laws and rules must be followed for safety and liability purposes.
- Time Slots Monday – Friday between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 to Noon only - Fee – Reserve the pool for your party online. The reservation fee must be received by pool treasurer (either online or check in pool box) within 5 days of your reservation or it will automatically be cancelled. After booking online, you will receive an email with a link and payment instructions.
- Area – Rentees will be entitled to reserve the eastern third of the pavilion, grill included. You may block off the area up to 1 hour prior to your time slot. All decorations, trash, staples, etc. must be removed immediately after your party.
- Lifeguard – A certified lifeguard must be hired. You may contact Auburn University’s aquatic
center or the Auburn city pool. Failure to provide a lifeguard at your party will cause your privilege of renting the pool to be removed. Your pool membership may also be revoked. - Guests – The pool is rated by the city health department for an occupancy of 50 people.
Since all other pool members are free to use the pool even when a party is
scheduled, parties are limited to 25 people. - Chaperones – The adult members of the family who schedule a party must chaperone, and
they are held responsible for the behavior of their guests, the care of the
property, and clean-up afterward.
