Willow Creek
POOLWHAT'S HAPPENING AT THE POOL LATELY?
- Pool Initiation Fee is $1000 for new members.
- If you are buying a property in Willow Creek, be sure to ask the seller if the property is an ACTIVE or DEFERRED member of the pool. The seller should transfer their certificate to you at the closing, and you will not have to pay an initiation fee!
- Please note, if you are not current on your initiation payments, your key will not be activated. Check with the Key Manager or the Treasurer for details.
- Your property can be Deferred, Active, Lapsed, or Dropped as far as a pool membership.
- Deferred: The initiation fee has been paid, but annual pool dues are not currently being paid. Your property may remain in Deferred status indefinitely, or until you pay annual dues and begin using the pool. A Deferred membership may be transferred to a new buyer of the property.
- Active: The initiation fee and annual dues for the current pool year have been paid. Active status may be transferred to a new buyer of the property.
- Lapsed: If annual dues are not paid in the year following Active status, the membership becomes Lapsed.
- Dropped: If dues are not paid for the pool season immediately following Lapsed status, the membership will be Dropped. At that point, a new initiation fee and annual dues must be paid by the property owner to use the pool again.
- Take home message – remain a Deferred or Active member to offer your potential buyer a nice incentive (and support your neighborhood pool in the process, which boosts your home’s value)!
- Annual pool dues cover pool use from May 1 – September 30 of each calendar year. Sometimes the pool board will vote to open the pool earlier or close it later each year.
- The pool has a WI-FI network. Email the pool board president for the password.
- In 2026, the Pool Board voted to increase annual dues to $400.
- The pool board has discontinued its PO Box to save on costs. A new mailbox/lockbox has been installed on Willow Creek Road at the location of the pool. The pool’s address is 207 Willow Creek Road. You can mail a check using the address, or you can drop it the locked slot above the mailbox. You can also make payments online using the button on this page.
-
- PLEASE NOTE! If you pay your dues via check, it may take longer for your key to be activated. We are volunteers, so checking the mailbox, updating our records and activating the key is something we have to do around our regular work hours.
